Does anyone know how to get a copy of the premier power software? My computer crashed and upon fixing it, i have to re-install the software, but i have 2 bad floppy disks that won't allow me too...I have been using this software for 15 years, and plan on retiring within a few years, so i really don't want to buy new software.
Please help!!!

I have a very old version of PP (2.0?? 2.1??) that I used during my entire career. Loved it! I'm retired and would like to sell my software, key, Stentura 8000. Let me know if you're interested (Dpotter284@att.net)

JM Steno will load your version of PP, provided you can prove you've bought your version PP as well as possibly fix your errored disks. They are wonderful and reasonable

HELP! I am a scopist and am currently using Premier Power with the Case Catalyst security device. When Case Catalyst first came on the scene, Stenograph support gave me, over the phone, some DOS code to put in so that premier power could run off the Case Catalyst key. The court reporter I work for and myself preferred to stay with Premier Power and never switched to Case Catalyst and let our support contracts run out. Of course, my system crashed and I've loaded the Premier Power onto the computer but cannot get it to recognize the Case Catalyst security device. I cannot find the piece of paper that had whatever I'm supposed to type into DOS to get it to recognize the key and Stenograph won't give support to Premier Power anymore (or so I'm told.) Can anyone help me???

Hi lau613,
Stenograph made a Premier Power 3.2C Update (p/n: 33969). Once loaded into Premier Power, it would allow a Case CATalyst key to be used with Premier Power.
Do you happen to have that disk? You will need it to get your key functioning.
One caveat, the disk says Load through "Load Updates", which you can't get to if you can't get into the software. Not sure why they did that. From a DOS prompt (c:\>) you may be able to put the disk in and type a:\loadsft.bat. Not sure if that will work but its worth a try.
Hope that helps!
