I have ozpc 2.2.1 software which I'm trying to run on a laptop. I downloaded the Microsoft Vitual PC which I read on this forum to do, and installed the ozpc software successfully, but I can't get it to run. I think I must be missing a step. (I'm not very computer literate). Please help!

Hi fuji61760, What are the specs of the laptop? Anything above 250MHz (which dates back more then 10 years ago) may not work at all with OzPC. My recommendation would be to pick up an older computer running either DOS, Windows 95, or Windows 98 and keep the speed under 300MHz or so. Then you have a good chance of it working. If you need, we sell laptops for running the older DOS-based software. Please see this link: jmsteno.com/shop/shop/item.asp?itemid=458

I finally got ozpc loaded on my laptop but when I try to log on it doesn't recognize the security key. The key works fine on my desktop. What to do?

Hi fuji61760,
What is the speed of your laptop? If it is above 250MHz, then that would cause OzPC to NOT see your key.

I tried accessing your website to see about purchasing an older laptop, but was unable to.

Hi fuji61760,
I do apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently having our website moved over to newer, faster servers and unfortunately we will be experiencing some downtime. If you would like, feel free to email me at computers@jmsteno.com and I will forward you our most popular model for OzPC.
