When I type OZPC to start the program, I get an error message stating "program to big to run in memory". User has OZPC 2.0; can my data be imported into any current similiar steno type programs....if so which ones including the last realeased OZPC....?

Hello Cory,
First off I apologize about the late reply. I have been out of the office on vacation and am still getting to everything I missed when I was gone.
At any rate, in answer to your question, you would need to check with the different CAT manufacturers to see if there is an Import Function and make sure they can import OzPC files specifically. I wouldn't take anyone's advice on this, as they can be wrong. So make sure you check with the manufacturer!
As for your error message, have you been running OzPC just fine prior to the message or did you install on another computer?
A common problem with OzPC (as well as all DOS-based software's) is if you continue to add jobs to your software, without removing old jobs, then you WILL run into errors. Once you hit a certain amount of jobs (which varies depending on computer, software, etc.), then you will get sometimes random errors.
One fix for this is to go into DOS and manually remove completed jobs. So there is a possibility that we can get OzPC working on your computer again, provided it was working fine on there before the error.
If this is the first time it was installed on the computer, I would make sure the computer is DOS-based and an older, slower computer. Many people think they can run their DOS-based software's on newer computers, however most of them find out quickly that this is not a viable solution. An older computer is definitely the way to go with an older software program.
I hope this information is useful to you. Feel free to email me at technical@jmsteno.com if you have any more questions.
