is there a way i can shim my 8000lx so the depth of stroke can mimick the elan Mira. i've been writing on the mira for a year and have to part with it because of a new job, but the shortest depth stroke on the lx is not shollow enough.
Can you shim and still have paper notes??

Hi stenovin,
Yes the LX can be shimmed to the same degree as the Mira. The ribbon will turn much slower and will cause the paper tape to be lighter from the slowness of the ribbon, but a simple turn every couple hours will override that.
